So what would everyone think if I started drawing Kanji, probably mostly with pencil to start, then maybe sharpie trace, and eventually paint if I get good. I don't have a scanner so it would all come in dumps, but it might take me a while to get something that I think is good enough to post anyway. I would take requests and everything though. I don't know how many people would be interested, or even know what I am talking about. Kanji is the most common form of Japanese writing, but appears quite decrative in my opinion. Anyway, if I get positive feedback on this, I may have finally found some art to start posting after 3 years.

Be honest on this though, if it's a bad idea, shoot it in the foot so it doesn't run. Please respond, I would like a number of responses to help me decide whether or not to post them.
